Some NOT to DO habits

You are the sum of your habits. When you allow bad habits to take over, they dramatically impede your path to success.

The challenge is bad habits are insidious, creeping up on you slowly until you don’t even notice the damage they’re causing.

A not-to-do list is filled with things that we would be better off eliminating from our daily routine.
These are habits that prevent us from accomplishing our to-dos and deplete our time and energy and affect our happiness and success.

Using your phone, tablet or computer in bed

This is a big one that most people don’t even realize harms their sleep and productivity. Short-wavelength blue light plays an important role in your mood, energy level and sleep quality.
Most of our favorite evening devices -- laptops, tablets and mobile phones -- emit short-wavelength blue light brightly and right in your face.
This exposure impairs melatonin production and interferes with your ability to fall asleep as well as with the quality of your sleep once you do nod off.

Avoiding Friends and Family

When life becomes stressful, people often cut themselves off from others. That's exactly the wrong thing to do, as research has shown that contact with supportive friends and family members can dramatically cut the risk of depression.
Proximity to those who care about us actually changes our brain chemistry, slamming the brakes on the brain's runaway stress circuits.

Answering Calls From Unrecognized Numbers

First, the interruption will throw your concentration, costing you far more in time and brainpower than just the conversation itself, and
second, if it's important, you'll find yourself in a poor negotiating position, scrambling to formulate your thoughts when the caller is already well prepared.

Spending too much time on the couch watching TV

By turning TV time into active time and committing to a healthy TV/activity balance,
you can burn more calories, become more fit, and reduce your odds for related health problems quickly.
You'll have a fitter body and more time for sleep, plus more energy, a better mood, sharper mind,
and more social connections, which can even help you increase your self-confidence.

Always Saying Yes

We want to say yes to everything! But constantly saying yes can quickly lead to burnout.
Instead of allowing yourself to feel pressured into committing to a fundraiser or taking on an additional responsibility every other week, it’s important to step back from the situation for a minute and allow yourself to say, “I’ll think about it.”
By giving yourself a chance to consider whether or not you truly have time to fit an additional task in, or whether you’d even like to in the first place, will make life much easier

Repeating mistakes

You will at some point make a mistake. So get it out of your head that you can avoid errors. Making mistakes is part of being an entrepreneur. The bad habit is making the same mistake twice.

Checking your phone during a conversation

Nothing turns people off like a mid-conversation text message or even a quick glance at your phone. When you commit to a conversation, focus all your energy on the conversation. You will find that conversations are more enjoyable and effective when you immerse yourself in them.
